Booking Policy

Second Skin Medspa and/or Scalp Micropigmentation Center, may or may not take a full or partial deposit for any treatment or service offered.  If a deposit of any denomination is paid by the client for a service, treatment or product, the deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.  The deposit may be used for the service, treatment or product that the deposit was made for, or if the client decides that he or she does not want to complete that treatment at, on or before the treatment date, then the deposit may be used for any treatment, service or product that Second Skin Medspa and/or Scalp Micropigmentation Center offers.  That deposit can be transferred to another person, if the client so wished.  There are absolutely NO REFUNDS or RETURNS of any deposits received.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is especially reserved for you. As a courtesy to our guests and therapists, we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to change or cancel any appointments (72 hours for treatments longer than 1 hour). Cancellations for a Tuesday appointment MUST be cancelled by Saturday before closing. A cancellation with less than 48-72 hours’ notice, or no shows, will result in the loss of a treatment session from your package or if you are an unlimited voucher customer, you will not be able to book your next appointment for 4-6 weeks from the missed appointment. A $25 FEE per hour booked, will be applied to any Late Cancelled appointments or No Shows. Customers who book appointments using their Credit Cards will be charged the full amount for any missed appointments or cancellations less than 48-72 hours’ notice.

Shaving Fee (Laser Hair Removal ONLY)

Please shave area being treated 1 day before, or the day of your Laser Hair Removal appointment. If the area being treated needs to be shaved by a Second Skin Medspa technician the following fees will apply: Small Area $15, Medium Area $25 and $35 for a Large Area, and your treatment time may be shortened.

Appointment Time

Your appointment time is especially reserved for you. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for your appointment time so that you may fill out any forms, use the restroom, etc, in order for your service or treatment to start on time. If you arrive late for your scheduled appointment, we may need to cut your service short, reschedule to a later time (if available), or cancel the appointment and charge a $25 FEE to reschedule the appointment to another date and time. Please be understanding of this issue, as we are booked back to back, and if you arrive late for your appointment time, it will push back treatment times for other clients that are after you.


We kindly ask you to turn off or silence cellular phones, or other electronic devices. To maintain a quiet, professional atmosphere, we ask that all guests consider the volume level of their conversations. We love children and pets, however, due to safety concerns, children younger than 10 years of age, and pets are not permitted in the Medical Spa.


Treat your gift card(s) as cash. The gift card is redeemable for products and services at Second Skin Medspa only. It is not redeemable for cash. It cannot be used to pay for any outstanding balance on any account. It can only be used to purchase new services, treatments or products. The card value cannot be refunded, redeemed for cash or replaced if the card is lost, stolen or destroyed. This gift card and any unused balance will be automatically cancelled if the card has been inactive for a period of 24 consecutive months, unless required by law. The gift card will be voided if it is found to be stolen, damaged or defaced in any way.

Giftcards cannot be used at the time of purchase to pay for treatments, products or services; it can be used at your next visit.

Group Booking or Parties

If a group booking is made, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. In the case of a cancellation, we require at least 2 days’ notice. No show appointments and those cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged the full service amount. To avoid last minute cancellation fees, you may replace yourself with another person to fill your reserved spot. Prepaid service appointments will be forfeited for all cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, and for no shows.


There are NO REFUNDS on any products, treatments or services paid for or pre-purchased. There are no exceptions. Products that are deemed defective will be exchanged for the same product within 15 days of purchase.
