There are many treatments available today, however, Second Skin Medspa is proud to be able to offer all our clients the most advanced method of Skin Rejuvenation today: Our 1-2-3D Skin Rejuvenation treatment!

1D- Silkpeel OR PCA Chemical Peel

Having a SilkPeel Dermalinfusion treatment can dramatically improve acne, fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation and sends a signal to your live skin cells to produce new skin cells, all the while exfoliating the top layer of dead skin. SilkPeel acts as a “clean and safe superficial mechanical abrader”, exfoliating the Hyperkeratinization (accumulation of the dead skin cells on top layer of the dermis). Simultaneously, it infuses a medical grade topical solution, which, depending on your skin concerns, can hydrate the skin, eliminate fine lines and wrinkles, correct pigmentation and/or destory acne bacteria for those clients with acne or oily skin. Even the worst breakouts may benefit tremendously from the SilkPeel treatment.

Salicylic Acid is a natural active extract of the willow bark and acts by exfoliating surface cell buildup. It also has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic benefits. A key ingredient in many skin-care products for the treatment of acne, psoriasis and more callous skin conditions, it works by causing the cells of the epidermis to slough off more readily, preventing pores from clogging up, and allowing room for new cell growth. Salicylic Acid is not to be used in people allergic to aspirin. Your best results will come with SilkPeel Clarifying solution with Salicylic Acid.

PCA Chemical Peels

Chemical peels don’t really peel the skin, despite what the name implies. They rapidly exfoliate the skin, allowing dead skin cells to shed more effectively. By keeping dead skin cells and excess oil from clogging the hair follicle, pore blockages (comedones) and pimples can be drastically reduced. Depending on the strength of the peel being performed, this procedure is very effective against removing large wrinkles and deep acne scars.

2D – Silkpeel + Chemical Peel OR IPL Photofacial

Add an IPL Photofacial to your Silkpeel or Chemical to increase the strengh of your treatment and speed up results. Intense Pulsed Light treatments that improve the appearance of Rosacea, flushing, broken capillaries, sun damaged skin, age spots, skin texture, and photo aging. Treatment also improves mild acne scars, reduces large pores, corrects dark circles around the eyes, and reduces fine lines. Treatments are especially effective for improving the appearance of the face, neck, chest, and hands. This exciting treatment involves little or no “down time”. You can resume normal activities immediately. An intense light is applied in a series of gentle pulses over the treatment area. Without damaging the skin, the light penetrates through the skin and is absorbed by the abnormally dilated vessels or pigmentation. The heat causes damage to the vessel or lesion, and the body begins its natural healing process. The lesion will darken before it flakes off or the body absorbs it.

Using Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), our Medical Esthetician can simultaneously treat a wide range of facial concerns safely and effectively, such as broken capillaries, skin discoloration, age spots, freckles, mottled pigmentation and the symptoms of rosacea, as well as reduce acne breakouts, and reduce the appearance of acne scars. Patients have a high degree of satisfaction with their results. Expect to see a gradual decrease in redness, broken capillaries, flushing, irregular pigmentation, pore size and fine lines. After each treatment, the skin will feel smoother and appear to have a more even tone.

3D – Silkpeel + PCA Chemical Peel + IPL Photofacial

Having a Silkpeel with a PCA Peel and an IPL Photofacial is the most effective technique to fully rejuvenate ones skin. The Silkpeel will exfoliate your skin thoroughly, stimulating new cell growth. Having an IPL Photofacial will break up the melanin that has hardened in the deeper layers of the skin, making them rise to the surface and eventually being exfoliated off. Finally, adding a PCA Chemical Peel will help exfoliate the skin, break up the hardened melanin and start the process of cellular turnover which will allow the new skin underneath to rise to the surface, leaving you with new, fresh, healthy skin.
